You will need to provide information and pictures to support your warranty claim and you may need to bring your vehicle to our premises for inspection. Before entering this process it is important for you to understand that our warranty covers manufacturing defects and not issues arising from external factors beyond our control. If we did not fit the roof then you will need to return to company who fitted it for initial evaluation and recommendations. If that company is no longer available then we will deal with you directly if you can provide proof of purchase as outlined in our warranty terms.

Your warranty does not include misuse or poor fitting

We are keen to assist anyone who has purchased one of our roofs and we inspect all of our roofs multiple times before they are fitted either by us or dispatched to our customers.

We supply thousands of campervan roofs each year and in very rare circumstances there may be a fault within the roof shell which was not detected during manufacture or a part like a gas strut fails earlier than its tested life span. Replacing a defective roof can be expensive and time consuming so we do our very best to ensure any potential faults are caught at the manufacturing stage. If your issue is due to a manufacturing fault then we will certainly assist you within the terms of our warranty, this may include a repair or a replacement. We will also assist if the issue is due to incorrect fitting, misuse, or poor maintenance; however, if any of these are the cause of your issue, then your roof will not be covered by our warranty.

You may need to bring the roof to us for evaluation

Our evaluation process focuses strictly on identifying manufacturing defects and we will assess the roof, roof tent, and fittings for manufacturing defects; sometimes this may not be possible using pictures or video. Based on this, we advise you to carefully consider the cause of any damage or fault before initiating a warranty claim. As outlined, our warranty does not cover damages resulting from improper installation or misuse, both of which are usually easy to identify.
